"We killed your mother": Four teenagers slit a cow's throat and slaughter its calf before sharing the images on social media

An investigation has been opened for "acts of cruelty and serious abuse resulting in death," the Ajaccio prosecutor's office announced Friday. Three minors were arrested and taken into custody on Wednesday, while a fourth, suspected of having transported his friends in a golf cart, was apprehended on Thursday. All were released on Friday.

The youths, aged 15 and 16, confessed to the acts, stated Sophie Shushi, commander of the Sartène gendarmerie company (South Corsica). Videos, circulated on social media in July, show teenagers "spattered with blood" and a "cow on the ground with a pool of blood, being decapitated," reported Commander Sophie Shushi.
